Our drywall framing is roll-formed premium grade steel, offering superior corrosion resistance and performance.

The ViperStud Framing System from Telling is available in a variety of web sizes and gauges. Our interior stud & track, as well as our angles, are knurled on the flanges.. This knurling offers speedy metal-to-metal and sheeting attachments and helps prevent screws riding or walking. We also have the ability to provide custom lengths, special packaging and markings upon request.

ViperStud® & ViperTrack® Features

• ViperRib® Technology applies a reinforced ribbing over the web and flange of ViperStud. The ribs on ViperStud provide added strength, is less prone to twist or buckle, and creates "high shoulders" when finishing gypsum board.

• Knurled Flange is the pattern of small ridges formed to prevent screws from walking. Since the knurling is only formed on one side of the steel, the stud stays flat, never compromising the strength or thickness of the steel.

• The ViperStud drywall framing system is interchangable with conventional framing components. Since ViperStud is flat steel, it is easy to plumb and mark, make minor adjustments, and use laser levels. Installation is the same as conventional studs; there is no extra training or special fasteners required.

• The One-Track System - We've tested ViperTrack extensively with Viper25 and Viper20 studs. Third party testing proves that it is not necessary to use the same thickness track as stud. You can now submit a lighter gauge track with your Viper20 studs and reduce your cost.
